If Sundrips’ recent split with Arcseconds whet your appetite for a full-length release, your prayers have been answered this week. Courtesy of Debacle Records, Just A Glimpse is a brand new CD release from Sundrips, featuring seven concise, synth-and-guitar-based tracks. Each track is totally awesome in its own right, as we would expect from the Dripsters, and Just A Glimpse comes together as a complete and beautiful work of art, taken best when swallowed whole. It might even be, dare I say, their finest work yet. Their countless tape releases have all been absolutely essential, but, on Just A Glimpse, Sundrips have created a record that just demands your attention and gets better with each listen. Gorgeous music! A must-buy.
